A showdown of Selma AISA rivals turned into a surprising blowout as Morgan blasted Meadowview on the road Friday night 101-51.

The Senators spread the wealth around as both Reid Buster and Jeremy Smith scored 19 in the winning effort. Buster added 4 steals.

Reid Tolar had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Senators.

Rhett Rivers scored 14 off the bench for Morgan Academy. Seth Welch and Quinton Pugh each had 5 assists.

The Morgan JV boys won 45-33.

Weston Mason and Umang Patel led the Senators’ charge.

Both Morgan and Meadowview are off until after the new year.
