Haley McIntyre hit a shot with 7 seconds left on the clock to lift her Meadowview Lady Trojans past Morgan, 69-68, Friday at home.

In a matchup that will go down as a classic, the two teams squared off like champions.

The lead never grew to more than 5 points in either direction and the teams fought back and forth.

Leading the way for Meadowview was Joni Lawrence.

The young sharp-shooter canned 7 3-pointers on her way to

25 points on the night.

McIntyre had 21 points, 11 rebound

and 2 blocks for the Lady Trojans.

Ashton Smith 13 added 13 points.

Elyse McIntyre added 4 points. Devean Aultman had 6 points in the winning effort.

Morgan had their share of great plays. Elizabeth Elliot had 30 points to lead the Lady Senators. Katie Taylor had 16 points while Candace Ward added 15. Ginger Gaines added 3.

It was just a hard fought ball game both teams showed a lot of class.&uot;

Meadowview advances to 8-1 on the season.

They will play January 2 at home as they host the Pepsi New Years Tournament.
