Wilson carries Lady Saints over Prattville

PRATTVILLE&045; On Friday night, coach Anthony Harris took his second-ranked Lady Saints on the road to battle Prattville in a 6A showdown.

With his guards’ shooting as cold as the weather outside, Harris turned to the pride of Selma High, Kim Wilson.

Wilson, along with inside partner Erica Lumpkin, tamed the Lady Lions.

Wilson and Lumpkin carried the Saints on their back as they took the 61-37 victory and improved to 12-0 on the season.

Prattville hung close for about five minutes of game time, then Wilson exploded.

She finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Lumpkin, the spark plug, dropped in 16 points and 9 rebounds.

Shemeka Simpson had 9 points and 3 assists. Santana Seay added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the winning effort.
