Daisy Bell Jackson

Daisy Bell Jackson, 91, of Beloit, died Thursday, December 4, 2003, at a local hospital.

Services are at 12 noon Wednesday, December 10, at Aimwell Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Lett officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include three sons, Trice’ Edison Jackson, Tom Esh (Doris) Jackson and Alfonzia (Robin) Jackson; four daughters, Maggie Ree (L.D.) Irons of Rochester, N.Y., Alice Ruth (Henry) McNeal of Beloit, Lula Mae (Clemeth) Biggs of Hueytown and Erma Dell (Alvin) Mincy of Birmingham; three sisters, Jannie Lee Carcman (Bill), Lula Mae Austin

of Quitman, Miss., Annie Kelly (Stafford) of Meridian, Miss.; a special cousin, Mrs. Jannie Mae Spencer; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four sons-in-law; two daughters-in-law.

Active pall bearers are deacons of Aimwell Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers are grandsons.

Jewel Frazier Bozeman

Jewel Frazier Bozeman, 81, of Selma, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Elwood Sims officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include three daughters, Janet (Ed) Henderson of Birmingham, Laura (Tyson) Howard of Lowndesboro, and Rebecca (Frank) Phillips of Selma; two sisters, Atrella (B.G.) Finley of Texarkana, Texas, and Scottie (Jerry) Inmon of Merritt Isle, Fla.; 11 grandchildren: Daniel(Georgia) Henderson, David Henderson, Rebecca (Kevin) Henderson, Laurie Pack, Ty (Milla) Howard, Catherine Crowell, Nathan Crowell, Sherry (Jim) Choate, Chrystal (Mark) Kelley, Brandy Ammons, Jamie Bozeman and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bozeman was preceded in death by her husband Walter James Bozeman Jr. and her son Walter James Bozeman III.

Active pallbearers are her grandsons.
