Carrie H. Ford

Carrie H. Ford, 78, of Jones, died Wednesday, September 10, 2003, at a Montgomery hospital.

Graveside services are at2 p.m. Friday, September 12, at Pineview Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Langner officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include three sons, Ferrell (Jean) Ford and Larry R. (Judith) Ford all of Jones, and Kenneth (Marie) Ford of Birmingham; one brother, Cecil Hancock of Moultrie, Ga.; two sisters, Agnes Barfield of Moultrie, Ga., and Sybil Bridges of Kissimee, Fla.; six grandchildren, Karen (Randy) Hamm of Selma, Tammy (Timmy) Harris, Christy (Clay) Steward both of Selma, Rebecca Ford of Birmingham, Brian Ford of Pensacola, Fla., and Kevin Ford of Birmingham

Active pallbearers are Randy Hamm, Timmy Harris, Clay Steward, Timothy Hamm, Mike Frith and Michael Frith.

Henry Jones

Henry Jones, 86, of Selma, did Thursday, September 4, 2003, in Selma.

Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Friday, September 12, at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Sammy McDole officiating and Walker Mortuary directing.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur King of Selma and Clyde Rembert (Loretta) of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Lydia Rembert of Cleveland, Ohio; a very special loved one, Luellen Johnson.; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; one niece.

Active pallbearers are family and friends.

Mattie Lee Flowers

Mattie Lee Flowers, 62, of Uniontown, died Thursday, September 4, 2003, at a Selma hospital.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 13, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. James Murdock officiating. Burial will follow in Flowers Cemetery with Julia L. White Funeral Home directing.

Mary Louise Taylor

Mary Louise Taylor, 69, of Rex, Ga., died Friday, September, 5, 2003, at a Georgia hospital.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 13, at Lilly Hill Baptist Church of Uniontown, with the Rev. S.P. Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisett Cemetery with Julia L. White Funeral Home directing.

Willie Taylor

Willie Taylor, 78, of Uniontown, died Monday, September 8, 2003 at his home.

Services are at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2003 at St. John Baptist Church of Uniontown with the Rev. Albert Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery with Julia L. White Funeral Home directing.

John W. Cooper

John W. Cooper, 80, of Selma, died Monday, September 8, 2003 at his home.

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 11, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Yarbrough. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a daughter, Beckie Ash of Montgomery; son, Johnny (Dianne) Cooper of Selma; grandchildren, Tracie (Joe) Sloan, Rebecca (Brandon)Pitts, Katie Cooper, Ashley Carter, Sara Ash, Eric Ash and Kevan Ash; great-grandchildren, Skyler Smith, Sara Smith and Cody Sloan; and brother, Ralph (Merle) Cooper.
