Jesse Carter

Jesse Carter, 65, of Demopolis, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at a Demopolis hospital.

Services were at 12 noon Saturday, June 14, at Nazareth of Galilee Baptist Church in Demopolis, with the Rev. Jesse Bell and Nathaniel Carter officiating. Burial followed in Limestone Cemetery, Gallion, with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home directing.

Mabel Adams Ratcliffe

Mabel Adams Ratcliffe, 83, of Camden, died Thursday, June 12, 2003.

Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Camden Baptist Church. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery with Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Thomas Arthur Ratcliffe (Carol) of Montgomery; daughter, Sarah Tusing of Camden; brother, Robert L. Adams of Camden; two daughters, Henley Sawicki (Robert) of Powder Springs, Ga., and Patricia Elizabeth Ratcliffe of Troy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camden Baptist Church in Camden.

W.L. Haigler

W.L. Haigler, 85, of Maplesville, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at a Selma nursing home.

Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at Maplesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Gatlin and the Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial will follow in Green lawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville, with Martin Funeral Home directing.

Survirovs include his wife, Willodean Haigler of Maplesville; daughters, Sue Callaway of Gulf Shores, Carol Haigler, Faye Hightower and Linda Smitherman all of Maplesville; sons, Marshall Haigler and Walter Haigler both of Maplesville, Steve Haigler of Foley, Carl Haigler of Childersburg and David Haigler of Maplesville; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Maplesville Baptist Church.

Carver Brown

Carver Brown, 46, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Coatopa, died recently in Washington, D.C.

Graveside services are at noon Monday, June 16, at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Coatopa with the Rev. Terry Gosa Eulogist officiating and Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors entrusted with arrangements

Marguerite Aultman

Marguerite Aultman, 71, of Marion, died Friday, June 13, 2003.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at Calavary Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Shane Cochrag officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes directing.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas Allan Aultman of Marion and Shawn Aultman of Florida.
