It’s not everyday a Selma resident can get arrested for ignoring a serious health condition, but the Dallas County division of the American Heart Association is taking the law into its own hands to bring awareness of heart disease and stroke.

In an event known as the Dallas County Cardiac Arrest, locals are being charged with &uot;crimes of the heart&uot; in an effort to raise funds for medical research.

The American Heart Associa-tion has notified Selma’s &uot; Most Wanted Citizens&uot; to appear before a mock court and bring plenty of bail money with them.
