Henry Murphy Sr.

Henry Murphy Sr., 38, of Selma, died Friday, April 29, 2005, at his home.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Beloved Apostolic Church of God, 700 Roosevelt Ave., with Bishop Johnny Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Murphy; father, Zeb Murphy; one son, Henry Murphy Jr.; one daughter, Ke’Shia Murphy; five brothers, Julius Murphy, OV Murphy, Theodore Murphy, Howard Murphy, Steve Murphy and Freddie Marshall; four sisters, Tessie Brown, Dyder Smith, Brenda Sledge and Clara Thicklin.; five brothers-in-law; and six sisters-in-law.

Richard Samuel Peck

Richard Samuel Peck, age 78, of Benton, AL passed away May 3, 2005, in a Montgomery hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Presbyterian Church in Benton, AL with Rev. John Boles officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in Good Hope Presbyterian Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Staggers Peck of Benton, AL; one son, Richard Ernest Peck of San Destin, FL; one daughter, Patricia Kendall (Keith) Moore of Benton, AL; and two grandchildren, Samantha Scout Moore and Robert Jackson Moore.
