The Meadowview Christian Lady Trojans dropped their first area-game of the year on Monday night to Tuscaloosa Academy, 4-3.

The Trojans led until the bottom of the seventh inning when the Lady Knights came back and put two runs on the board to take the lead 4-3.

Lindsay Vice lead the way for The Lady Trojans at the plate. Amber Curtain, Ashton Smith, and Hailey McIntyre all went one for three in the game.

Micah Lolley moved to two-and-one on the year, as she picked up the loss for the Lady Trojans.

Meadowview 24, Ft. Dale 8

The Lady Trojans rebounded from their early week loss by knocking off Ft. Dale 24-8, in the first game of a double header. The lady Trojans picked up 31 hits in the game.

Hailey McIntyre led the way for the Lady Trojans, going five for seven with a home run. Sheena Steward went four for six on the day, and Emily McIntyre went four for five. Jessica Rowell went five for six at the plate for the Lady Trojans.

Pitcher Micah Lolley added to her win total for the year, improving her record to 3-1.

Meadowview 14, Ft Dale 5

The Lady Trojans almost let this game get away from them, despite the lopsided score.

The team trailed in the game to Ft Dale until their bats finally woke up in the sixth inning, when they managed to get the lead and never looked back.

Hailey McIntyre led the way for the Lady Trojans once again, going four for six at the plate with her second home run in two games. Sheena Steward went four for six, and Lindsay Vice three for. Megan Lambert went three for five.

Pitcher Micah Lolley picked up the win to boost her record to 4-1 on the year.
