Richard Conner Jr., 22, of Uniontown, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002 in Uniontown.

Services are at 12 noon, Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Peter P. B. Church in Uniontown with Elder Jeffery Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in Goldman Hill Cemetery with Julia L. White Funeral Home directing.

Ione Pilgreen Yawn

Ione Pilgreen Yawn, 94, of Selma, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 at a local hospital.

Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Al Finch officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include sons, Richard Yawn Sr. and wife Martha Pitts Yawn of Moundville and Thomas Moody Yawn Jr. and wife Patricia Cross Yawn of Denham Springs, La.; grandchildren, Charles Richard Yawn Jr. of Moundville, Lori Yawn Wood of Birmingham, Lisa Yawn Wilkinson of Walker, La., and Regina Yawn Rogers of Watson, La.; great-grandchildren, Charles Yawn, Kassidy Yawn,

Hope Wilkinson and Brennon Rogers.

Family visitation will be from 12-12:45 p.m. on Friday, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Ephron Eaton

Ephron &uot;Bill&uot; Eaton, 59, of Mobile, died on Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 in Mobile.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Bethel Hill Baptist Church in McKinley, with the Rev. Joe Waller officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Julia L. White Funeral Home directing.

Emma Wagner

Emma Wagner, 52, of Marion, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at a Tuscaloosa hospital.

Services are at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Marion Baptist Academy with the Rev. Clifford Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove United Methodist Church, North Perry.

Survivors include one son, Eric Wagner; two daughters, Cherylynn Wagner and Ernestine Wagner; two brothers; and four sisters.

Maude Coats

Maude Coats, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Selma, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003 in Washington, D.C.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Sara Ann Eakens McClinton, 61, of Tuscaloosa, formerly of Selma, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at her home.

Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Williamson officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her sons, William Bruce Gregg of Tuscaloosa and Robert Stephen Gregg of Birmingham; step-daughter, Karen Robbins and husband, Donnie of Poolesville, Md.; a sister, Alice Swink and husband Joe of Selma; and nieces, Rene Nickles and Amy Reeves and husband Edgar all of Selma.

John Harold Price

John Harold Price, 52, of North Carolina, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 in North Carolina.

Daniel Edwards, 63, of Arkansas, formerly of Perry County, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 in Arkansas.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow in Kynard Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Agnes T. Vickers

Agnes T. Vickers, 49, of Selma, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 at her home.

Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Mt. Zion P.B. Church with the Rev. Brian Starks officiating. Burial will follow in Mutual Aid Cemetery in Bay Minette.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Vickers; two sons, James and Bernard Thompson of Selma; two daughters, Tara Thompson of Selma and Cherie Thompson of Montgomery; four brothers, Eddie (Beulah) Crenshaw of Klamath Fall, Ore., Willie Thompson of Bay Minette, Percy Thompson Jr. of Meridian Miss., and Claude Thompson of Atmore; four sisters, Prescilla (Jimmy) Dixon, Ruby (Murphy) Dixon of Flomaton, Betty (George) Watkins of Bay Minette and Alma Lee of Jersey City, N.J.; five grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Millie and Percy Thompson.

Eddie Lee Gamble, 48, of Orrville, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 in Selma.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Gamble Cemetery in Old Cahawba.

Survivors include his wife Gloria Eldridge Gamble; five daughters, Lashonda Sanders, Charonda and Teresa Winfield, Alicia and Ebony Eldridge, step-daughters; and step-grandson, Amarvion; four brothers, Lawrence Gamble, Prakto Gamble, Billy Gamble and Thomas Gamble all of Atlanta; three sisters, Louise Lawson of Detroit, Brenda Gamble of Atlanta and Joann Gamble of Orrville.; four grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; mother in law, Bernice Eldridge, father-in-law, Richard Eldridge; sisters-in-law, Ora (John) Lewis, Delorise (Jessie) Wallace, Carolyn Marshall and Freddie Mae Craig.
