Jamaira Ellis Roland

Infant Jamaira Ellis Roland, 1 month, of Selma, died Friday, December 12, 2003, at her home.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, December 19, at the Chapel of J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with J. H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her parents, Jennifer Denise Ellis of Selma and Earnest Roland; four brothers, Devon Ellis, Deshaun Ellis, Darryl Ellis and Jakobe Roland of Selma; two sisters, Christine Ellis and Christine Roland; and two grandmothers, Vice Ellis and Sally Mae Brown of Selma.

Tommie Lee Smith Jr.

Tommie Lee Smith Jr., 54, of Arlington, died Wednesday December 17, 2003, at a healthcare facility.

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 18, at the Chapel of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherman Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery, Pine Hill, with of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include two sisters, Kathleen Hill of Thomasville and Linda Bailey of Grove Hill and two brothers, Lonnie Smith of Selma and Ned Smith of Magnolia.

Family visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith was a member of the Magnolia church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Edith Mason

Edith Mason, of Selma, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at a local nursing home.

Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 20, at First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors will be announced later by Lawrence Funeral Home.

James White

SGM James White, 70, of Demopolis, died Sunday, December 14, 2003, at his home.

Services will full military honors are at 12 noon Friday, December 19, at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Demopolis, with the Rev. Carlton Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home of Demopolis directing.

The body will lie in state at the church on Friday, beginning at 11 a.m.

Willie E. Prince

Rev. Willie E. Prince, 83, of Newbern, died Friday, December 12, 2003, at a Tuscaloosa hospital.

Services are at 12 noon Friday, December 19, at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Newbern, with the Rev. Jimmy Prince Jr. officiating. Burial will follow n Curry Grove Cemetery with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home directing.
