Senators come up strong

The Morgan Academy Senators wiped the floor with the Meadowview Christian Trojans 81-55, Tuesday night.

The Trojans were led by Robert Blackmon with 17 points, John Robert Morton with 11 points, Tony Spires with nine. points, and Roger Goodman with seven points.

The Senators Varsity girls came out on the top as well, defeating the Trojans 55-33.

The Lady Senators were led by Hayden Casey with 11 points, Sarah Wood with 10 points, and Laura Morris with eight points.

The Lady Trojans were led by Haley McIntyre with 23 points, and Sarah Biddle and Kasey Burton, each with two points.

The male junior varsity Senators took the win against the Trojans 50-33. Lead scorers for the Senators were Jeremy Smith with 15 points, Blake South with 11 points, and Ben Callaway with 10 points.

Lead scorers for the Trojans were Chris Sewell with 13 points, Derek Lassiter with eight points, and Matt Boley with eight points.

The Lady junior varsity girls took the win against the Lady J.V. Trojans as well, defeating them 26-21.

Lead scorers for the Senators were Laura Cameron Mott with ten points, Carrie Glover with six points, and Aly Bradford with four points.

Lead scorers for the Trojans were Elyse McIntyre and Kasey Burton, each with six, and Sarah Biddle with three points.

Meadowview takes on Greenville at home on Thursday night.
