Donald Frederick Calhoun

Donald Frederick Calhoun, 73, died Oct. 5 in a local hospital. Services will be announced by Selma Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Calhoun of Camden;

four sons, Donald (Jean) Calhoun of Center, Mo., James Calhoun of Center, Mo., Ronald (Tammy) Calhoun of Frankford, Mo., and Paul (Tricia) Calhoun of Center, Mo.; two daughters, Kaye (Darrell) Egbert of Hannibal, Mo., Jane (Mike) Riefesel of New London, Mo.; one brother, W.A. (Dorothy) Calhoun of Bella Vista, Alaska; and one sister, Jean (Gene) Guy of Center, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He and his wife were gate attendants for the Corps of Engineers at the camp grounds in the Selma area.

Anita Newman Williams

Anita Newman Williams, 74, of Selma died Saturday, Oct. 4, in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Selma Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be in the Pineview Memory Gardens, with Selma Funeral Home Directing. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Selma Funeral Home. She is survived by her loving companion Olen Davis of Selma; two sons, Ronald (Pat) Williams of Leeds, Ala., and Wyatt (Vicky) Williams of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter, Bonita (Robert) Harper of Rome, Ga.; one sister, Onie Baxter of Carrollton, Ga.; two grandchildren, Ryan Williams and Ramsey Williams, both of Huntsville, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Judson Williams.
