John Howard Ray Jr.
John Howard Ray Jr., 76, of Camden, died Tuesday, September 2, 2003.
Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 4, at Camden Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Primm officiating and Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home of Camden directing.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce R. Ray of Camden; daughters, Debbie Huggart (Craig) of Birmingham, Melanie Collins (Scott) of Coy and Michelle Larimore (Boddy) of Walkertown, N.C.; sister, Lula Lee Tait of Camden; brother, Herman Ray of Camden; and 11 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Camden Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 518, Camden, AL 36726.
Daniel Coy Rainwater
Daniel Coy Rainwater, 25, of Selma, died Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at his home.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, September 5, at the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Edwards and the Rev. Neal Caver officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Carol Rainwater of Selma; one brother, Rodney Rainwater of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Stephanie (Jeff) Crawford of Selma; paternal grandmother, Frances Rainwater of Selma; two nieces, Ashley Anders of Selma and Shelby Crawford of Dumfries, Va.; two nephews, Laiton Crawford of Selma and Nick Buss of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Active pallbearers are Edward Shumate, Bobby Busby, Mike Brady, Lee Busby, Dionnie Sheehan and Ernest Carter.
Honorary pallbearers are Steve Mott, Sam Mott, Steve Banks, Ricky Rawlins and Bubba Doxier.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, at Selma Funeral Home
