Alfred L. Crowell

Alfred L. Crowell, 74, of Selma, died Wednesday, June 24, 2002 at a local hospital.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Selfield, with the Rev. George Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his mother, Ella M. Crowell; three sons, Freddie, Herman and George; one daughter, Rebecca Abdelhafiz; one brother, Johnny (Callie) Crowell; one sister, Lela (B.K.) Blevins; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 13 brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; a loving aunt, Eula Powell Moseley; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Baby Girl Caffey

Baby Girl Caffey, of Selma, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at a local hospital.

Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at Elmwood Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her mother, Sharita Caffey.

Willie James Ray Sr.

Willie James Ray Sr., 62, of Jersey City, N.J., and a native of Forkland, died June 27, 2002, at a Jersey City hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2002, at 1 p.m. at First United Baptist Chruch in Forkland with Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing.
