Ronald Fitts, the suspect who was arrested Tuesday night, after a

police chase, lives at the residence on Elkdale Street.

Harrell said police also currently have a warrant out for Tyron Stallworth, another suspect police say is involved in some of the shootings. Stallworth is described as being a black male, 18 years of age, 5′ 9″ tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He is the brother of Jarron Stallworth.

Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of Tyron Stallworth is asked to contact police headquarters at 874-6611.

Harrell added that the shootings could be possibly gang related, but that he could not confirm that at the present time.

Assistant Chief Robert Jacobs noted that many of the suspects involved in the incidents have been involved in criminal activity on a regular basis.

To find the suspects, and put many local residents’ fears at ease, police are targeting the areas where they are frequently found, Jacobs said.

Police, he added, are also working closely with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office to make sure that the office is aware of the problems police have faced in dealing with the suspects.

“We are working as hard as we can, right now, to make sure that all suspects who are involved are apprehended as soon as possible,” Jacobs said.
