A little news from Meadowcraft

Wayne Vardaman, executive director of the Selma-Dallas County Economic Development Authority said today that Meadowcraft in Selma has been sold to Home Casual LLC out of Fitchburg, Wis. We haven't seen an order place on the docket from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware and none of the principals are talking about the sale.

Anniston's newspaper broke the story. Vaughn Stewart III said he talked to a couple of sources in the union in Waddley close to the hearings, who said that's what they heard. Anniston went with the story from there. Stewart did not name his sources.
