Happy Birthday and God Bless You. Now children listen to this woman. She has lived 101 years and she says Selma is a good place with good people. We need more positive words for our city. Not all of Selma is bad and not all of it's people are bad. Let's praise the Lord for the good. I pray God will continue to bless this lady

Dr Tom was my teacher for a few years at Southside. He was a character. Sorry for the family's loss.

God Bless You Charlie. You were always the nicest man. I went to school with Donna, Charlie's daughter. So sorry about your dad. He was a sweet man and always had time to say a few words. We always talked about you and what you were doing. He was very proud of you. I know you will miss him a lot. I lost my dad last year and I can relate. Keep your eyes on Jesus and it will be easier.

Mrs Faye claimed her Independence on July 4th, 2009, from the pain and suffering she had been through for so long. Now she is free, free indeed. Praise the Lord. Sing with the angels Mrs Faye. I was truly blessed to know you and your family.

Way to go Ya'll. I'm so glad someone found it that can really use it. Praise the Lord. I know ya'll are thanking God for the blessings he has given you. By the way the kids did an excellent job Father's Day with their song. I think it sent a message to lots of Fathers that kids are always watching what they do not just what they say. God bless ya'll. Don't forget to give God His 10% of your blessing.

I have read everyones messages and it seems to me that each time we point a finger at someone, we need to remember there are three pointing back at us on that same hand. Also if everytime we look at a person, all we see is black or white, then maybe the real problem is us. I think the problems in Selma have more to do with our choices than whether we are black or white. Moms and Dads can just do so much. There comes a time when we make our own choices and then we have to suffer the consequenses.
All of these people, theives and shooter, made a choice to do these things. One of the boys is in the hospital, this is one of the consequences of his choice. Two others are in jail, that is the consequences of their choices. Mom and Dad didn't make their choices. Their race didn't make their choices. It was their choice alone. Laws are made for a purpose, to protect the innocent. God made the first laws, the Ten Commandments. If we all lived by those laws, God given instruction for our lives, there would be no need for consequences. This I think is the number one problem in Selma. Even though there are church buildings on every street corner, we forget that God plainly states in His Word the we as Christians are the church, His church, His chosen people. We need to get back to the Basics of Life. Prayer, Reading the Bible, Living in Harmony, Loving Others, as God loves us. If we could, no we can, if we would do this then Selma would truly be a place that was Blessed by God, not one that is cheered on by Satan.

Bobby could be a son of a gun but he could be a nice guy too. I'm glad he is no longer in pain. He suffered a long time. Thanks Bobby for all your help with your little wayward friend, my daughter. She learned a lot of good things from you and she really cared about you as a friend. God Bless You.

Thanks for all the hard work. I don't care what anyone says I think ya'll do a fine job with what you have to work with. God bless you. Stay safe and continue to keep us as safe as you can. Let God do the rest.

Maybe safety is more important than money in some things. I thank them for trying to keep another situation like the last one from happening again. Some people can't be trusted to be civilized and mind their manners without someone forcing them to do so. One incident by one group is now causing all future groups to pay the price.
