I understand what you are saying eyeonyou maybe it could have toned down a little without the spraypainting but some of us face people that say its a new day we are all equal yet holding secret meetings to invent more tactics to control people. You have some people that are very emotional about what they believe and would go to any length to educate their children about it incase they run into a situation education, employment, etc. and don't understand the confrontation.

Oh, I must have hit a nerve see that's why I don't let these issues consume me, but my comment wasn't for that, i just hear someone commenting whose mentality hasn't changed and for as my statements being broad that's okay I have nothing to prove to you or what I know personally, I will comment freely as I please and far as the cookies goes, I hope you haven't been taking cookies that don't belong to you. And I hope you are not saying IT doesn't matter how you get it out of the jar just as long as you get it. Oh for the record, I don't take these comments to heart because I don't let stuff like this consume me but when I feel need to speak I will and will continue to exercise the power to freedomly speak.

I see we're pointing fingers at Perkins Administration but as I recall ag333 you commented to another its not time to blame anyone for anything(supposedly have the spirit of going forward) but its okay as long as its not Smitherman Administration which was the only administration i know all city workers got caught we're their hands in the cookie jar but good ole smitherman stayed clean and clear.(because he was just standing by the cookie jar) Contradictory don't you think.

eyeonyou why would you refer that particular monument as civil rights garbage. I am for selma going forward building up itself to be better and that we should not point fingers at anyone(even when its convenient for anyone to blame another)because a lot of this also AG333 is getting old if we are a people to participate in going forward, there has to be a mentality change, starting with myself. Somebody has got to get tired and become a wiser person.

I thank God he has people that are ready to fight to bring about a positive change in our community and to push Selma forward, I pray this is a start of healing and true effort.

selmaonmymind, I have noticed a couple of your comments, through prayer and the will of God this event came about and if man had never looked to man for solutions in the past he wouldn't be concern now.
