I will miss daphne very much, we worked together in the school system and she was alright with me. She was a woman that was straight forward and spoke what was on her mind and I admired her for that. To the family I would like to say to you look to the hills from whence cometh your help, all of your help comes from the Lord. Don't look down Daphne would not like for you to do that. She was a happy person that always made you laugh, so just remember the Good times that you had. Her spirit still lives on!

On channel 8 news they had said that they had comfirmed that it was Chandler. Someone is not getting the story straight. I feel that is very bad for the family with conflicting stories.

The Selma City Police Department need to step up more than what they are doing. They are stopping people for minor driving offenses and not worrying about the drug areas. We do have young children that are playing outside in the City of Selma. Think about your children outside playing and a shoot out goes on. If something is not done quickly, then Selma is going to be as bad as these other towns with a large crime. We have got to stop this before this gets more out of hand than it is. And this should be an attempted murder charge rather than an assault. Selma has got to get better on their crime scenes and get these police that are not sharp and do not care just want to make money. They are not out there to just make money, they are to protect and serve. But there are some that are out to just pick on people for the little things. I stay in West Selma and I can count the times that I see a police car drive through my neighbor hood as if they are scared. I ask the Selma Police Department to step up and PROTECT AND SERVE AS YOU TOOK YOUR OATH.

Shelia and the rest of the Jones Family, My prayers go out to you, in your time of sorrow. Shelia, I did not know your son, but I remember when you were pregnant with him. I went to school with your sisters and brothers. You were much younger than me but I still do remember days of old. My prayers also goes out to Willie also. Please know that weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning. I hope to be talking to you very soon. Please look to the hills because that is where all of your help going to come from. I know that your family will be by your side, because you all have always been close.

I wish that someone would look at the house in the 1400 block of Washington Street. THere are people that are going in the house and smoking and doing god nose whatever. And there are women that are staying near that house would like to see it gone. I hope this is a start to clean up Selma with these run down houses.

People that knows the word of prayer need to pray. God is tired of his people, forgetting about him. He is the one that keeps us day by day. But know one want to give praise to who praise is due and that is the Lord. People wake up and start remembering who Jesus is. WE should never forget him through our walk of life.

I would like to say to Blevins Family, hold your head up and know that your loved one is at peace and is no longer suffering with pain and sickness. She is smiling and looking down on you all and saying please do not cry for me. Just remember all of the good days that the Lord blessed us with. I have known this family for a long time and I am praying that you will find comfort in the Lord.

Praise God, I just hope that our young people would stop killing themselves. They have so much to live for than just killing themselves and making someones mother cry .
Please young people wake up, there is more to life than killing each other.
