Well I agree with you eyeonyou, but let me say this much, we do have people that really need supervision. Not everyone need government running their daily life, however like a professional teacher said earlier, teachers are raising other folks respondsibilites. So people when you know people and see people lacking in their duties as parents and neighborhood watch monitors, then the government need to step in. Bring on the cameras.

Everybody please stop playing teacher on this blog. I have never own a gun, and I really hope to never have a permit for a gun. However there are so many people that have guns and will never by law be able to get a permit. So what's the use of a permit?

My deepest sympathy to the family. Low was really nice to me back in the day. I use to live on Griffin Ave. Low and the twins and all the guys use to hang out at my house. I pray that the family find strength.

God Bless

I think it is a cycle of a curse. Thugs want to be somebody other than the good kid in the neighborhood. Back in the day thugs kept all their crimes in certain little sections of town, now just like some of you said it is like cancer. So now its just time to take back our neighborhoods.

Oh yes people let us give our condolence to his family and respect the dead. Everybody has some dark shadows in their life, so lets not throw stones. Try to remember at least 70% of the good in him. That family started off with bad luck.

Oh I must say this was really sad. Just looking at the conditions of my people and I can say that because I am an African American proud black man with a vision that my people will overcome all this madness in their environment. I love the south and will always love it, even though I am from the north. I love Selma, Marion, and most of the black belt because there is rich history there. We as a people must stop hating on one another and don't be so selffish. I am no better then the next black person, I am trying to make just like my neighbor I might not have a car but I have feet, thank you Jesus. My house may not be a brick house but I am glad I have a shack that is paid for. My child may not be book smart but he is the best basketball player in the State Of Alabama. So see my people we all are somebody.
