However, I do not see the normal group of commentators passing judgment against anyone on THIS story. Where is Bama, eyeonyou, and the gang? You all are such hypocrites. A crime is a crime. If you comment on one you should comment on them all. I see all crime isn't committed by one race. Again, I'm gladimoved.

Thank you, NeilTheasby. Out of towners can see the importance of Selma. I moved to Selma in 2004 and left in 2006. I am gladimoved because people are too divided. If you have friends of the opposite race, people look at you strangely. The town is where civil rights began not where eternal hatred towards one another began. Love one another no matter what the race. Stop blogging about thugs when you know you are referring to black young men. White young men have been in this paper doing wrong also. Stop complaining about every. Before I complained all the time, I left. Maybe some of you need to leave if you're so unhappy. For those trying to make a difference and better the town- God Bless!

Wow!! After a million principals, Selma High survived. But when Mrs. Byrant (one of the school's counselor)retires, the school falls apart!! They need you, Mrs. Bryant. Come out of retirement.

It is a shame. Riverview is a nice and quiet street. you just have to go thru so much rift-raft to get there.

I didn't play a race card or any other card. I simply made an observation. Like I said a crime is a crime. And believe me THOSE who move from Selma are glad they move in order to have a better life. Look back at some articles and comments. You all call criminals thugs,low lifes, when they happen to be black, but you did not in this article. I was simply stating more than one race committs crimes. Now if that is a race card, you all are sick. And you're in the right place. A city full of thugs and low lifes according to you. I get so tired of people accusing blacks of playing a race card when we call you on your mess! But you can call blacks thugs, lowlifes, no home upbringing. Just do so across the board with all races when they do wrong! i will sleep well because I never worry about crime in my neighborhood- can you say the same?
