Amen Gene!!!! The only thing I could add is that the people who dictate the redistribution of the wealth usually make sure that they stay fat and lazy.

In response to Wisdom's math....
Perhaps next time Allan comes to town, he can speak at Memorial Stadium. Maybe then we will get a true representation of how many people really care. Who knows how many listened on the radio?
I think, Wisdom, you may find that your math is flawed....

I have been to Turkey many times. It is a beautiful country with lots of history. Istanbul is amazing.
While I am sure that there are Religious fundamentalists with dubious agendas, I am certain that it true even of America. All the people I met were very friendly. I was not necessarily visiting the tourist traps either.

Well you have my respect dude. That is a hell of a job. I will follow your blog with interest and wish you a good season. Look me up when you get back into town (assuming you get 5 minutes to spare) and I will buy the beer :-)

Thank you Something2think_about for posting the link to the Topix site.
I do not see any ‘hate’ posted there! I see a lot of posts from people questioning the true motives of Mr. Duke and the Freedom Foundation. I think that it is important that we do question Mr. Duke’s motives.
Waltzing into town with large fanfare and an ‘army’ of 30 or so ‘volunteers’ from Colorado would certainly cause most people to consider it a bit odd and ask some very pointed questions. I think that Mr. Duke has an over blown sense of importance if he considers the contents of the Topix site to be ‘hate’. Although by his own admission he has never been on the internet as his wife does not let him, how does he know what is on the site. Is somebody is telling Mr. Duke untruths about the actual contents of the site?
Of course Mr. Duke may need to feel hated and persecuted in order to be more like Jesus or Dr. King. I think the only person he is kidding is himself!

Hi Paul,
You be careful up in 'Deadliest Catch' land. Does the Discovery Channel program accurately portray the job?
I'll have a Guinness for you ;-)

<snip---->Duke also said the Alabama Bureau of Investigation has launched a probe into a Web site. Duke did not identify the Web site but said people have posted items critical of the Freedom Foundation, including claims the organization is a cult.<----snip>
Wow..... I did not know that accusing an organisation as being 'cult like' could warrant an ABI investigation.
If true, I guess peoples hould go back and check the law regarding expressing an opinion on a public forum.
They must have ammended the law since last I looked......

"Mr. Leashore again has let his mouth overstep his intellect. "
I think you are too kind. This assumes that Mr. Leashore is in posession of some intellect!
