I agree Dixie. By you listing the name it allows someone who is reliable and unemployed to contact the business and may be an opportunity for them for employment. Not everyone is like her and its a shame that there are many people who are very reliable and cannot find a job.

Congrats Michael!!! You were always awesome and you deserve everything that is about to happen!!! Not only book smart and physically talented, you were always the NICEST guy at Dallas County High!!

I agree oleballcoach...Ever since Causey left, the football has gone downhill. The had a great team when he was there and he was passionate about the sport and motivating the players. And on Susan Jones, I know people may not like for one reason or another, but she got the job done and was an excellent principal. I graduated in 2004 and when I was there, I'll be honest I didn't like her. Now I look back since she has left and I see how much the school has began to fail....It's sad.....

As a person who owns a business in Selma, I received a letter saying that the company Selma ZX1 (name Zaxbys operates under) filed Chapter 11. I received the letter because I did repair work at Zaxby's and still have not received payment for my services. So why would I get a letter asking to appear on a creditors committee of people the company owes and now the owner say it simply closed because she is ill....Makes me wonder....If a profit was being made, why was I never paid after numerous past due bills were sent to them.

I was a friend of Marshall's. The day after his death I visited with Vanessa to make sure she was doing ok. Little did I know she was the cause of his death. She said that someone "robbed" him and then beat him and took off across the field in the front of their house. In the 15 minutes that I was visiting her I knew something was fishy. I am glad justice has been served!!!

That's a shame. She is a very nice lady and did an outstanding job at the EMA. I wish Mrs. Cook much success in her future.

eyeonyou.......I COMPLETELY agree with everything you stated in your last post. I experience this 99.9% of the time when I go to a fast food restaurant in Selma. It makes you wonder if the managers even care anymore...
