Shamrock, How many board meetings have you attended? Are you on the board?..... I asked that question because you write like a defeated school board member who wants to pick a fight with someone..... or shall I say a fight with someone else. LOL
Webster's defines Sham as -- "FAKE."
Go hide back under your rock......The people of Selma have spoken and it's time to get up or shut up.

Now we are on to something. On a serious tip, let's call a meeting or ask Leesha to call and advertise a meeting. I will be there along with 20 more of my friends.

You are welcome leo71. I have heard many in this community complaining about how hard it is to get a meeting with the new Superintendent regarding problems with their child/children. I am not sure if he is aware of this or not. Our children can not speak-up for themselves, therefore it is upon us to make sure we protect them and their right to a quality education. When it comes to your child you need to demand a meeting with the Superintendent by writing a letter to him and sending it certified. That should get his attention!!!!!

Truelight and aTrue1 maybe you guys need to change your name to deception and deceit because that's the message you are sending out to the masses. The city school system is not a private entity, it is public and paid for by tax payers who have the right to be informed. If the Superintendent does not pass the test by the end of the school year, he will no longer be eligible to be Superintendent and that would be a tragedy. Maybe since you appear to know so much about certifications, you can answer the questions for citizens who want to be informed. leo71, it is my understanding that you can contact the Alabama State Department of Education and find out if the Superintendent is certified, however, as a tax paying citizen you have a right to request that information from the Selma City School System.

I too would like to see all children receiving free lunch, but that's not the case. Stop pimping the programs aimed at helping disadvantaged children.
I now know why Obama has placed strict regulations on the Stimulus Package.
Selma and corruption......LOL
