No. 10 Lowndes Academy bounces Lakeside 41-7

CAMDEN — No. 10-ranked Lowndes Academy went into its idle week with its fourth straight victory, rolling over Lakeside 41-7 Friday night.

Chance Ward paced the offensive punch for the Rebels, carrying eight times for 142 yards. Tyler Bozeman added 11 totes for 101 yards as Lowndes Academy amassed 322 yards on the ground.

Quarterback Anderson Casey hit one pass in three attempts for 31 yards.

On defense for the Rebels, Christian Kilpatrick collected seven solo tackles, one assist and a fumble recovery. Bozeman contributed four solos and five assists, while Grant Nall and Jordan Granthum each added six tackles.

Lowndes is idle next week before taking on Autauga on Sept. 25.
