Library has great resources for divorced dads

Published Thursday, November 26, 2009

Dear Editor,

In response to Mr. Terry Lewis’ letter, which ran Sunday, Nov. 8, and to all who have had their rights taken away by the judicial system, you need to read the book “The Father emergency Guide to Divorce and Custody Battle” by Robert Seidenberg.

I found this book at our library here in Selma. They also have Ala. law books.

Fathers are trying to understand how these things can be done. A child needs equal time with both parents.

Fathers are reduced to visitors and they are expected to be happy with visitation.

Regards,

Mrs. W. M. Bearden

Careful there--Mrs.Bearden-- you might get branded a right wing zealot for advocating that a father be permitted to be a part of their children's lives. :) I'll be sure to check out the book...it's one the legal establishment here in Selma should probably read as well.
