Papa Johns sits right on a MAJOR ROAD and these thugs are still breaking in. Selma is the new Sudan. These thugs are like roaches, when the lights go out...they are everywhere. Business owners, ARM YOURSELF and shoot!!!!!!!!!

This is so sad, businesses are going to leave and Selma will never grow or change with b/s like this!!!! They rob convience stores, cash places, people's homes; I guess churches while they are in the middle of service is next!!! SAD!!!!!

There aren't but so many more years left for this town to retain hard working, tax paying, civilized people. Professional people living in this city aren't going to sacrifice their livelihood and raising their children in this crime infested, backward town much longer. Unless something changes pretty soon, you can expect good families to relocate to towns that value education, civility, progress, an open mind, etc.

You give and give and give and give.....and get NOTHING BACK but thuggery, crime, excuses and blinding ignorance.

That TV just became Christmas for someone. Terrible shame, this could happen to anyone, especially at this time of year. It will only be more reports like these. Hmm maybe we could get an ordinance from the city to label any thieves, rapists, and killers as "Somalian pirates" then do what the armed forces did.... You put some of these assbags in the ground and behaviour like this WILL stop.

This is bs. This is why Selma can't get any business to come there because these sob won't stop trying to rob places. This is why no one no longer wants to visit Selma. The old historical church with the MLK statue, no one doesn't want to visit there in front of the projects where it's a breeding ground for thugs. And as long as there's a mayor and city council there that doesn't give a damn about the place, then selma will continue to deteriorate.

How about a "surge", roll cemetery, recreation, walking path, and amphitheater funding into the police department for a year or two. Hire some pro-law enforcement judges and clean the place up. Panama City Beach just ordered fifty-six "m-16" assualt rifles and all they have to deal with is drunk teen agers. I can only imagine what the SPD would need on Maxey St. or the east end of First Ave. popdukes12

Who would break in just to steal a tv? Well, I know a couple of people in selma that would be so stupid! Its strange papa johns on a major street yet no one saw anything and no police riding around? It bothers me because police are too busy worrying about minor traffic violations while the criminals are wrecking havoc over the streets. What was the title of that book, Selma, Lord Selma
