Teenager accused of inciting a riot

SELMA — Two juveniles were arrested for disorderly conduct for fighting after school Thursday, but the 19 -year-old student, who was also arrested, garnered another slightly more serious charge.
Officers arrested Travis Suttles, Selma, for disorderly conduct and inciting a riot.
Police Sgt. Doug Stewart said officers arrived to separate two juveniles who were fighting in the 2100 block of Broad Street after school Thursday afternoon.
“The officers were doing this when a 19-year-old student named Travis Suttles began to encourage the large crowd, which gathered during the fight, to interfere with the officers’ duties,” Stewart said.
Officers took the two juveniles to police headquarters and later released them to their parents.
Officers also took Suttles to headquarters, but he was booked and taken to the Dallas County Jail.
Suttles’ bond is $500. At press time Friday, he remained in jail.
All three are students in the Selma City Schools System. The Selma City School Board will decide any disciplinary action regarding the three at a later date, school officials said Friday.

Simple, if you are a bystander and you attempt to stop an officer of the law from stopping the law, you should get tasered for sprayed with mace. These ignorant young adults with no respect for themselves or the anyone else need to be taught what their parent(s) failed to.

Thes kids have no respect for authority. This school system is very lucky this didn't turn into a "shooting" or killing. I tell you who I feel sorry for, I feel for the kids that are actually in school attempting to get an education around all these thug wantobe's. It's another sad day in Selma.

well anyway's I was glade that the dogs and the water hoses wasn't brought out!! it's sad they can arrests a teen for "accused of inciting a riot" but yet someone that is armed and dangerous!!!!!!!!
