Reflecting on another good soccer season

Dear Editor,

We recently completed another great season of Upward Bound Soccer.

I would like to thank Valley Grande Baptist Church and the numerous sponsors that make this program available for our children. We can’t forget to thank all the coaches & assistant coaches that take the time to help our children learn about soccer and to have a close relationship with the Lord. Everyone donates their time & their skills to teach our children the fundamentals of the game. Thank you!! Thanks to VGBC for the use of their fields and equipment and to Martin Middle School for the use of their gym for the closing ceremonies. It takes many people working together to make this such a great program, that the kids look forward to every year!

They are also taught some bible scriptures and how to apply that in their lives - to have a close relationship with the Lord. Thank you to all that makes this possible & for a wonderful season.
