Patriots trail Eagles late

D.J. Brown hit two free throws and Dandre Toler hit a jump shot to give Alabama Southern a 91-88 lead over Wallace with 39 second left in the ACCC quarterfinals in Hanceville.

Toler hit another free throw to extend the lead to four. An Eton Moore free throw makes it 92-89 Alabama Southern with 27 seconds left in the contest.

Wallace held an 86-85 lead over Alabama Southern with 2:13 left in the first overtime of the ACCC tournament quarterfinals in Hanceville.

Reginald Carson knocked down a 3-pointer with five seconds left in regulation to force the overtime.

The winner of this game advances to the ACCC semifinals on Saturday.
