Selma stars fall 2-1

Selma’s 14-year-old All-Stars stranded eight baserunners Saturday in a 2-1 loss to Millbrook in the District 4 tournament.
Austin Anderson gave up four singles and had 10 strikeouts in the Selma loss.
With one single each for Selma were Crawford Traylor, Joey Raybon, Ethan Fancher, Dylan Lawrence and Eddie Thigpen.
Corbin Shaw picked up the mound victory for Millbrook, striking out 10, giving up five hits and walking two.
In today’s 14-year-old action at Selma Softball Complex, Holtville plays Millbrook at 4 p.m. to determine Monday’s matchup.
In the 13-year-old District 4 tournament today, Selma takes on Millbrook at 4 p.m.
