Court hearing delayed for two accused of capital murder

The initial court hearing was delayed Thursday for two men accused of capital murder in the shooting death of Eric Walker of Selma.
Undra White, 37, and Dornell Billingsley, 18, were scheduled to appear in District Judge Bob Armstrong’s court Thursday morning, but the judge rescheduled the hearing until next week because one of the attorneys couldn’t make the court date, said District Attorney Michael Jackson.
White and Billingsley remain in the Dallas County Jail without bond.
Lt. Art Friene said Walker, 33, White and Billingsley got into a fight in the area of L.L. Anderson and Minter on Sept. 12. Someone fired shots and Walker got into his car and drove away.
Walker’s 1996 Ford Mustang struck a power pole at Church Street and Jeff Davis Avenue, said eyewitnesses, who asked not to be identified because of fear of retribution from others.
“When he hit the pole, he flipped the car,” one of them said.
The accident shut down power in the area because an electrical box was on the power pole, Friene said.
Funeral services are set for Walker at 1 p.m., Saturday at New Bethel Church in Collerine.
Walker was a brick mason.

Senseless Murder. The young man had a job, only lived in Selma on the weekend, and was trying to live. Three families destroyed...Over What? NONSENSE. Selma we need to do better.

Maybe if selma would clean up LL anderson things would not happen like this, young men and women all killing one another for no reason ........ who suffers in crimes like this, think about this people before you pick up a gun .. what if it was your family
