Bond hearing set for court today

Published Thursday, August 28, 2008

A bond hearing for Louis Dixon is set at 1:30 p.m. today in District Court in Selma.

The district attorney's office confirmed the hearing time.

Dixon is charged with having weapons without a license. He, his wife and two others were arrested Tuesday night at the corner of Washington and Selma avenues by Selma police officers.

Authorities said they found two .380 caliber semi-automatic pistols, a 12-gauge pump shotgun and an assault rifle similar to the kind police officers use.
