Felicia Owens Dixon arrested

Our public safety reporter is working on a story about Felicia Owens Dixon's arrest on a weapons charge Tuesday night after the polls closed.
Authorities have confirmed she was arrested by Selma police officers.
She was booked into the Dallas County Jail and held on $2,000 bond, according to authorities.
We're working to get more information and will update as soon as possible.
Dixon was a candidate for Ward 3 council. Her husband, Louis, was a candidate for mayor.
Both of them lost their races.
