Lee 54, Selma 45 (Girls)

Robert E. Lee handed Selma (7-1) its first loss of the season Tuesday night.

The Saints turned the ball over 25 times and went 4-for-16 from the free throw line in the loss. Areyana Williams scored 16 points to lead the Saints in scoring and Jamya Smith chipped in 10 points.
Keith 42, R.C. Hatch 40 (Girls)

Keith (3-5) won its opening area game of the year Tuesday in a 42-40 nail biter against R.C. Hatch. Shatavia Moore scored 19 points,
Meadowview 32, Victory Baptist 26 (Girls)

Mallory Freine had 13 points and Hannah Thornton had 10 points as Meadowview Christian (3-1) defeated Victory-Millbrook 32-26 Tuesday night. With the win, the Trojans improved to 1-1 in area play.
Dallas County 51, West Blocton 8 (Girls)

Jamerah Smith scored 11 points as Dallas County (1-2) defeated West Blocton 51-8 on Tuesday night. Ten players scored in all for the Hornets, who picked up their first win of the year. Tynesha Jones had 8 points.
Dallas County 72, West Blocton 43 (Boys)

Andre Hall scored 14 points as Dallas County (3-2) topped West Blocton 72-43 on the road Tuesday night. Ladarius Furlow also had 11 points for the Hornets.
Meadowview 60, Victory Baptist 46 (Boys)

Kamyon McGuire scored 22 points, Justin McGuire had 18 and 15 rebounds as Meadowview (3-1) beat Victory Baptist 60-46 on Tuesday night.  Jeremy lee also had 7 points.
Tuscaloosa 67, Morgan Academy 52 (Boys)

After losing by 30 to Tuscaloosa in November, Morgan kept it competitive Tuesday in a 67-52 loss. Jay Creech scored 11 points to lead the Senators. Dione Allen and Hayden Bruner scored 10 points apiece. The Morgan girls team lost Tuesday night, but no final score was provided.
R.C. Hatch 64, Keith 56 (OT,Boys)

Keith (2-6) lost its opening area game in class 2A, area 7 in overtime to R.C. Hatch 64-56 Tuesday night.  Mark Young scored 13 points and Justyn Pettway had another 12 points. Jimmie Powell also had 10 points and six rebounds for the Bears.
Lee 62, Selma 58 (Boys)

Lee squeaked by Selma 62-58 in a tight game Tuesday. Jeffery Huff Jr. had 13 points and Christopher Carter had 10 for the Saints.
