Wallace men’s team improves to 9-2, beats Lawson

Wallace Community College Selma’s men’s basketball team defeated Lawson State 81-74 Saturday.

Zavieun Jackson led the way for the Patriots with 19 points and nine 9 rebounds. Jalyn Richardson scored 18 points and brought down six rebounds and LaByron Harris had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Gene Davis, the team’s leading scorer coming into Saturday, finished with 13 points.

The Patriots (9-2) will play at Itawamba Community College in Mississippi on Wednesday night.
