If the Selma girls are going to make it to Montgomery for the regional portion of the playoffs, they’ll have to win on the road.

Selma (25-5) lost to Hillcrest 54-44 in the class 6A, area 6 championship game Friday night in Tuscaloosa. The loss means the Saints will have to win at Bessemer City Monday night to keep their season alive.

Areyana Williams led Selma with 14 points against Hillcrest. Jacquetta Dailey chipped in 11 points as the only other Saints player in double figures.
