Alexander Crawford McDaniel, age 80, of Wetumpka, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016.

He is preceded by his parents, Oliver and Jo McClendon McDaniel; and brothers, Ezra and Lewis McDaniel.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Billie Sue McDaniel; children, Barbara English and William McDaniel (Debra); grandchildren, Aaron English, Matthew McDaniel (Stephanie) and Sarah English; great-grandchild, Abby English; brothers, Norris McDaniel and Arnold McDaniel; and sisters, Loudell Cameron and Martha Miller.

He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church for over 53 years. He was also a member of the Selma Civitan Club, serving several leadership positions for over 45 years and the Selma Masonic Lodge No. 926 for 47 years.

Services will be noon Monday, Feb. 8 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Kopp officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron English, Matthew McDaniel, Colin Adendorff, Jesus Sanchez, Wayne Stewart and Gerald Anderson.
