Jevar McGuire scored 21 points to lead the Meadowview Christian Trojans (8-6) past the Chilton Christian Patriots 71-27 Thursday at Chilton Christian.

Chris Maul added 11 points for the Trojans, and Sam Dabit and Justin McGuire each contributed 10 points.

Meadowview is at New Life Christian Tuesday.

 

Meadowview 67, Chilton 47 (girls)

Mallory Freine’s 28 points gave the Trojans more than enough to beat the Chilton Christian Patriots 67-47 Thursday on the road. Christina Dabit added 18 points.

 

Dallas county 70, Billingsley 35 (Boys)

The Dallas County Hornets rebounded from Tuesday’s loss by doubling the score of their opponent Thursday on the road.

The Hornets rolled past the Billingsley Bears 70-35. Dallas County got out to a fast start, leading 19-8 after the first quarter, and didn’t let up through the entirety of the game.

Henry Baker led all scorers with 17 points. Andre Hall added 14 points, and Kareem Ross scored 13 points.

The Dallas County defense stepped up, holding the Bears to just 14 first-half points.

In the fourth quarter, Billingsley didn’t make a single field goal and only managed to score one free throw.

Dallas County hosts Wilcox Central Tuesday.
