Frances Powell Friday, age 88, of Selma, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015.

She is preceded by her husband: Frank Friday; and parents: Erskine and Celeste Powell.

Mrs. Friday is survived by her sister: Ann P. Friday (Fred); nieces: Fran Yocum, Martha K. Freeman, Barbra Wilburn, Beth Delcambre, Brenda Powell; nephew: James Powell; and great niece: Ann Elizabeth Yocum.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Westwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Winston Brooks and Dr. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10-11 at Westwood Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Michael Powell, Michael Fondren, Butch Barnes, Zaron Craig,  Dr. Julio Delgado and Tommy Ellis.

The family would like to thank Wanda Larrimore and Myrtle King for their loving care and kindness during her illness.
