Mr. Charlie Ellis Jr., 85, of Selma, passed away Nov. 20, 2015, in Birmingham. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, 11 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle with pastor John E. Grayson officiating. Burial will follow in Athen Baptist Church with Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by one daughters, Cassandra Bell; brother, Rhueben Ellis; two sisters, Lucille Riddle and Pinkie Ellis; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one son-in-law; one daughter-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; 32 nieces; special niece, Sophie Ellis; nephews, Lorenzo Ellis and Ulysses Woodyard. Pallbearers will be nephews.
