Roundup: Keith Boys, Girls defeat Davidson

 Keith 62, Davidson 48 (BOYS)

John Pettway continued his hot start to the season Monday as the Keith boys defeated Davidson in the Williamson Thanksgiving Tournament. Pettway scored 27 points, had nine rebounds and four steals as the Bears (4-0) stayed undefeated.  Dontavious Thomas also had 12 points and five rebounds for Keith. Dalven Johnson chipped in 11 points and five rebounds.

 

Keith 54, Davidson 42 (GIRLS)

Harriet Winchester scored 28 points and brought down 15 rebounds Monday as Keith (3-1) defeated Davidson 54-42 in the first round of the Williamson High School Thanksgiving Tournament.

Zykia Pettway bounced back from a quiet night against Wilcox Central with 17 points and six rebounds and Shatavia Moore had 12 rebounds.

 

Francis Marion 56, 

Selma 47 (BOYS)

Turnovers and missed free throws cost Selma (1-2) Saturday night against Francis Marion in a 56-47 loss.. The Saints had 21  total turnovers against the Rams. No other stats were provided for this game.

 

Selma 48, 

Francis Marion 24 (GIRLS)

Jamya Smith scored 15 points to help Selma (3-0) double up Francis Marion 48-24 Saturday night. Areyana Williams added another 14 points and Jacquetta Dailey poured in another eight in the win for Selma.
