The Southside Panthers (1-4, 0-3) lost 58-16 to the Thomasville Tigers (4-1, 3-0) Friday on the road in a class 4A, region 1 matchup.  This game marked Southside’s third straight road loss and Thomasville’s third straight home victory. 

The Panthers have an opportunity to bounce back next Friday against the Wilcox Central Jaguars, an 0-4 class 5A, region 4 opponent.

Southside head coach Daniel Flowers could not be reached for comment following Friday’s game against Thomasville.
