Nettie B. Howard, age 97, of Autaugaville, passed away March 20, 2015, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for March 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Mallard Chapel with the Rev. Boswell officiating. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Willie Lewis Howard Sr; and parents, Chap and Georgia Lee Atkins. She is survived by her five sons, L.C. Howard, Willie Lewis Howard Jr., Lee (Matilda) G. Howard Sr. (Autaugaville), James (Karen) Howard Sr. (Bradenton, Fla.) and Sylvester (Barbara) Howard (Jacksonville, Fla.); two daughters, Carrie B. Blevins Sr. (Calvin Lewis) and Sylvia Kimbrough (Detroit, Mich.); 36 grandchildren; one son-in-law; five daughters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
