Morgan Academy 52, Eastwood 43 (Boys)

Morgan Academy continued a recent streak of good play with its fourth win in five games Friday night over Eastwood Christian.

The Senators (5-4) defeated Eastwood 52-43 to advance to the championship game of the Autauga Academy Tournament.

Jackson Henderson led the way for Morgan with 18 points and John Ross Bone had 16. The Senators hit ten three-pointers.

The Senators will play Autauga Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

 

Dallas County 87, Booker T. Washington 50 (Boys)

Jerrod Moorer scored 28 points to lead Dallas County to a blowout 87-50 victory over Booker T. Washington Friday.

Javaris McGuire also added 16 points. Booker T. Washington was led by Brandon Evans with 17 points and Thomas Green with 12.

Dallas County will play Keith Monday in the first round of the county tournament at Wallace Community College Selma.
