Ms. Rachel C. Wright, age 86, resident of Sardis, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. at John the Baptist, officiated by the Rev. Curtis Williams. Burial to follow in Pineview Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service in Selma.

Survivors include: two sons, Joe Wright Jr. and Maurice Wright; three daughters, Brenda L. Wright, Lutusie Rutledge and Jacqueline Wright; two brothers, Daniel Cook and Jeremiah Cook; two sisters, Sarah Reagor and Hattie Rivers; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
