Ellwood 51, Marengo 43 (Boys)

Jalen Furlow scored 19 points and added seven assists to lead Ellwood Christian to its first win of the year Friday against Marengo County.

Anthony Woods added 15 points and five steals in Ellwood’s 51-43 victory.

“We came into a hostile environment and came out with a victory,” Ellwood Christian coach Darrell Walker said.

Marqueith Gullett also added ten points in the win.

 

Meadowview Christian 46, 

Assembly Christian 43 (Boys)

Clayton Thorton scored 12 points to lead Meadowview Christian past Assembly Christian 46-43 Friday.

Alan Stockman and Sam Dabit each scored 11 points for the Trojans (5-1).

The Meadowview Christian junior varsity (3-3) also won Friday, defeating Assembly Christian 46-39.

 

Meadowview 42, Assembly 21 (Girls)

Shelby Boswell scored 13 points and Meadowview Christian doubled up Assembly Christian 41-21 Friday.

Christina Dabit scored 11 points and Claudia Kendrick had eight for the Trojans.
