Billy Wade Bond passed away October 24, 2014 at the age of 84.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Berta Wheeler Bond; son, Stephen Wade Bond; sister, Virginia Stewart; brothers, Robert Bond, James Bond, Gene Bond and Jack Bond.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Bond; son, Robert Wade (Torrie) Bond; daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Lockhart, Tracy (George) Thames and Rebecca (Jeffrey) Nichols; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and sisters, Ruth Keene and Pauline Baifield.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Guy Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Scott Bond, Larry Bond, Stanley Bond, Wade Bond, Jeremy Bond and Johnny Barfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Bond, Gene Bond, Timothy Bond and David Bond.
