Amos “Sugar Lump” Lowery

Amos “Sugar Lump” Lowery, 66, resident of Selma, passed away October 2, 2014 at home. Memorial services are scheduled for October 11, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Daryl Moore. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery directed by Walker Mortuary.

He is preceded in death by parents Adam Lowery and Alberta Milhouse- Lowery.

Survivors include spouse, Barbara Lowery; son, Terrell Lowery; three daughters, Cassandra  (Kenneth) Mack-Hardy; Letrina Lowery, Takia (Charles) White; two brothers, Adam Lowery and Collie C. Lowery; two sisters, Eddie Mae Prower and Mary Lowery-Davis; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; six brothers-in-laws, six sister-in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
